Details of our services over Christmas are as follows:

 

Sunday 24th December

10.00 am: Sung Eucharist.  The choir lead us in singing hymns and carols, and we hear readings from the Bible and share in Holy Communion.  Sunday School is available for those of tender years!  This service lasts just over an hour.

 

Midday: the Late Service.  A shorter, less formal service lasting about half an hour.

 

11.30 pm: Midnight Mass.  The choir lead us in our first celebration of Jesus’ birth!

 

 

Monday 25th December – Christmas Day

8.00 am: Holy Communion.  This is a quiet and reflective service at the start of the day, and lasts about 45 minutes.

 

10.00 am: Sung Eucharist.  The choir lead us in singing hymns and carols, and we bless the Crib, hear readings from the Bible, and share in Holy Communion.  This service lasts just over an hour.

 

 

Tuesday 26th December – St Stephen’s Day

9.30 am: Holy Communion.  A quiet and reflective service at the end of a busy few days, during which we recollect ourselves before God and remember St Stephen, one of the earliest Christians.  This service lasts about 45 minutes.
