Since the start of September, we have been meeting every Sunday – in a suitably distanced way – to sing a hymn, parts of the liturgy and a communion anthem at the 10.00 am Mass which has been streamed in the church’s Facebook page.

Just before the second Lockdown, we celebrated All Saints Day by singing Mass for All Saints by our Organist, James Cryer, and O quam gloriosum by Victoria at the 10.00 am Mass, and a Choral Evensong – The Savoy Responses by Cryer, Charles Wood’s Evening Canticles in D and Give us the wings of faith by Bullock.

On All Soul’s Day we were able to sing Fauré’s beautiful Requiem. Plans for Advent and Christmas are of course on hold now, but we hope to be back singing together and enriching the liturgy of our church very soon.
